LYL Camp'26 is a Christian youth camp whose goal is to help teenagers and young people better understand their identity in Christ, grow stronger in faith, find a healthy environment, and see how their life can be used for good, for service, and for God's glory.
The main theme of the camp is “Your life is your tool.” We want every participant to understand that their life is not random — they have value, gifts, abilities, and the opportunity to be a light for others.
Goals of the camp
During the camp, participants will explore important questions:
- Who am I really?
- What does God say about me?
- How do I stop believing lies about myself?
- How do I use my talents and abilities the right way?
- How can I be a light in my family, among friends, in church, at school, university, and in society?
The camp is aimed at spiritual growth, forming healthy values, and developing responsibility, friendship, teamwork, and a desire to serve others.
What's in the program
The program includes:
- spiritual sessions;
- prayer and worship;
- small groups and discussions;
- workshops;
- team games;
- active recreation;
- evening campfires;
- swimming pool;
- time with the leaders;
- meals and accommodation.
In total, the camp features 6 main sessions that will help participants understand the themes of identity, freedom, calling, and practical service more deeply.
Day-by-day program (in brief)
Day 1 — Getting to know each other and starting
Participants arrive, register, settle in, and meet their teams. On this day the first sessions take place — about who we are in Christ and why our life is not random. In the evening: active recreation and a get-to-know-you campfire.
Day 2 — Depth
The day is devoted to inner questions: false beliefs, fears, comparison, self-worth, and the freedom of being God's child. There will also be workshops, a team game, and evening fellowship around the campfire.
Day 3 — Practice and dedication
Participants will talk about how to apply what they've heard in real life. There will be a closing session, rest by the pool, workshops, team-building, and preparation for practical service.
Day 4 — Wrap-up and departure
The last day includes breakfast, packing, summing up, and heading home.
Outreach after the camp
After the main program there is an outreach — practical service in the city. It's an opportunity to put the camp's theme into practice: to care for people, to serve the community, to share faith, and to be a light beyond the camp.
Safety and responsibility
The camp takes place in an organized environment under the supervision of the team and leaders. Written parental consent is required for minor participants. The minimum age of participation is 16.
The organizers strive to create a safe, healthy, and respectful atmosphere where young people can rest, connect, ask questions, pray, grow spiritually, and find support.
LYL Camp'26 rules
We ask all participants to follow the camp rules and to respect the team, the other participants, and the venue.
1. Respect and behavior
Every participant commits to treating others with respect: participants, leaders, organizers, and camp staff. The following are unacceptable at the camp:
- rudeness, insults, and humiliating others;
- aggressive behavior;
- bullying, mockery, and pressure;
- disrespect toward leaders and the program;
- damaging camp property or other participants' belongings.
We want every person to feel safe, accepted, and able to take part in the program freely.
2. Participation in the program
Participants commit to taking part in the main camp program: sessions, prayer and worship, small groups, workshops, team activities, evening programs, and general gatherings.
The camp program is mandatory for all participants, unless there is a valid reason related to health or well-being.
3. Daily schedule
Participants must follow the camp schedule: arriving on time for meals, sessions, games, gatherings, and evening programs.
After lights-out, participants must stay in their rooms. Walking around the grounds at night without a leader's permission is not allowed.
4. Camp grounds
Participants are not allowed to leave the camp grounds without the organizers' permission.
If a participant needs to leave the camp grounds for any reason, they must inform their leader or the responsible organizer. Minor participants may leave the grounds only with the permission of their parents and the organizers.
5. Safety
Participants must follow the instructions of the organizers and leaders during games, activities, at the pool, on walks, and at other events. It is forbidden to:
- swim on your own without permission and supervision;
- take part in dangerous games or risky actions;
- use items that could harm yourself or others;
- ignore the safety rules communicated by the team.
If a participant feels unwell, they must inform a leader or organizer immediately.
6. Prohibited substances
The following are strictly prohibited on the camp grounds:
- alcohol;
- cigarettes and vapes;
- narcotic substances;
- energy drinks;
- any prohibited or dangerous substances.
Breaking this rule is considered serious and may lead to immediate removal from the camp, with the parents being notified.
7. Personal belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings: phones, money, documents, clothing, chargers, and other items.
The organizers recommend not bringing valuables unless necessary. The organizers are not responsible for lost personal belongings unless they were handed over in advance for safekeeping to the responsible person.
8. Rooms and accommodation
Participants must keep their rooms tidy and take care of camp property. It is forbidden to:
- enter rooms of the opposite sex;
- switch rooms without the organizers' permission;
- make noise after lights-out;
- damage furniture, walls, doors, or other property.
In case of damage to property, responsibility may fall on the participant or their parents.
9. Clothing and appearance
We ask participants to choose clothing suitable for a Christian camp, for activities, sessions, and rest.
Clothing should be comfortable, neat, and respectful toward others. For sports games, the pool, and active recreation, appropriate clothing and footwear are needed.
10. Health and medication
If a participant has allergies, chronic illnesses, dietary restrictions, or needs to take medication, the parents must inform the organizers in advance.
Medication should preferably be handed to the responsible leader together with instructions for use. Organizers do not give participants medication unnecessarily or without the parents' agreement, except in emergencies.
11. Communication between participants
We ask participants to build communication on respect, purity, and wisdom. The following are unacceptable:
- indecent jokes;
- pressure in relationships;
- inappropriate physical behavior;
- conflicts that a participant refuses to resolve peacefully;
- behavior that prevents others from taking part in the camp.
If a conflict arises, a participant can turn to a leader, and the team will help calmly sort out the situation.
12. Photo and video
During the camp, the team may take photos and video for reports, memories, and publications related to the camp.
If parents do not want photos or video of their child to be used in public materials, they must inform the organizers in advance.
13. Breaking the rules
In case of a rule violation, the organizers have the right to:
- have a personal conversation with the participant;
- notify the parents;
- limit participation in certain activities;
- in case of serious violations — remove the participant from the camp.
If a violation threatens the safety of the participant themselves, of other people, or the camp atmosphere, the parents will be notified and the participant may be sent home.
These rules were created not to restrict, but for safety, order, and a healthy atmosphere. We want every participant to be able to rest peacefully, connect, grow spiritually, ask questions, find support, and be part of a good Christian community.
